Vintage Audio Clips

In the process of transferring vintage recordings, we often come across some true gems.

I wish to thank everyone  who has graciously granted permission to use the following audio clips .   Each MP3 audio clip contains a brief description of the original format and date of recording.

Before making the final transfer, we attach a brief MP3 sample audio clip to an e-mail for evaluation. The following are some of those clips.

All audio clips are in MP3 format

Original Format:  RCA Sound Tape Cartridge - Transfer to CD
Date: 1970
Venue: Family recording.
Shelly - International Falls, Minnesota
Description:

This clip literally brought me to tears laughing. Just the way she said it.... I was laughing so hard, it took another 10 minutes before I could resume the transfer !

Shelly then was about 4 years old and had "Jack & Jill" down pat, but hadn't yet quite mastered "Little Miss Muffet".

"Thanks so very, very much for checking out one of the reels and sending the mp3!  It sounded great!!!  It is my older sister at about age 3-4 doing her very best Doris Day imitation.  She was quite a little ham back then :)  I think it was about 1956/1957.  I was very excited to finally really hear it so good after so many years and am really looking forward to the rest of it.  I really appreciate what you are doing. "
